A gallery that tattoos.
Tomb Gallery sits on Essex Street in downtown Salem. Half of it is a tattoo studio. The other half is a gallery: original art, masks and special effects work made in house, and a collection of oddities and specimens that has been building for years.
You do not need an appointment to come and look.

Made in the back.
Masks and special effects pieces, built by hand in the studio. They are not props bought in for decoration. They are made here, and some of them are for sale.

The collection.
Bones, specimens and curiosities, kept in cases around the shop. Some of it is for sale and some of it is not. Ask if you want to know what something is.

Visiting.
Essex Street closes to traffic through the October season, so come on foot while it is. We are open 11am to 6pm, seven days a week through September and October. Walk in to look at the gallery any time we are open. If you want to be tattooed, book ahead, because whether anyone is free that day depends on who is in.
Open 11am to 6pm, seven days a week through September and October. Tattooing is by appointment, so book ahead if you are traveling for a piece.
On the road.
The masks and the prints travel. If you have seen the booth at a horror convention, that is the same work that hangs on the wall on Essex Street, and most of it comes home with somebody.
